At Second Chance Plushies, we believe that unwanted plush toys can still have plenty of life left in them. Instead of sending them to the landfill, you can donate them to us and help give them a new purpose.
Your donation may become a beautifully rehabilitated plushie that finds a new home, helps support our mission, or is donated to a local charity serving children.

Second Chance Plushies welcomes plush toy donations from across the United States.
Whether you have one special stuffed animal or a collection of plushies you've accumulated over the years, we'd love to hear from you.
Before sending a donation, please contact us through our Contact page. We want to make sure we can accept your particular donation and provide you with the appropriate instructions for getting your plushies to us.

Every donation is different, and we'll work with you to determine the best way to proceed.
What Happens to Your Donated Plushies?
When your plushies arrive, their journey is just beginning.
We carefully evaluate each donation to determine what condition the plush is in and what it may need. Some plushies may require extensive cleaning and rehabilitation, while others may simply need a little freshening up.
Our rehabilitation process can include cleaning, washing, stain treatment, drying, brushing, grooming, repairs, and other careful restoration techniques.
Once rehabilitated, plushies may be:
Rehomed through our shop
Some plushies are restored and offered for sale at reasonable prices so another person or family can enjoy them.
Donated to children and local charities
When possible, we donate plush toys to local charitable organizations and causes that support children.
Used for other parts of our mission
Some plushies may have unique circumstances or conditions that make them unsuitable for resale or donation. We make every effort to determine whether there is another responsible reuse or repurposing option.
Our goal is always to keep as many plush toys as possible in use and out of the landfill.
