We specialize in giving well-loved plushies the deep cleaning, gentle restoration, and extra TLC they need to look and feel refreshed again. Whether your plush is a treasured childhood friend, a sentimental keepsake, or simply a favorite cuddle companion, we'll treat them with the care they deserve.
For $75 flat fee, we provide a complete plushie spa experience for plushies up to 18 inches, including return shipping.
The Plushie Spa Experience $75
Your plushie's rejuvenation includes:
Detail Brush Cleaning
We begin by carefully working through the fur or fabric with detailed brushing and cleaning to remove dirt, debris, and buildup while helping restore the plushie's texture.
Bubble Bathing
After a condition assessment, each plushie gets a gentle bubble bath designed to freshen and clean your plush while taking its materials and condition into consideration.
24–36 Hour Fan Dry
Plushies need time to dry properly! Your plush receives a slow, thorough 24–36-hour fan-drying period to help ensure it is completely dry before the restoration process continues.
Restuffing
Has your plushie become a little flat after years of hugs? When appropriate, we'll refresh and redistribute the stuffing to help restore its shape and fullness.
Seam Repair
Loose or open seams can happen with years of love and use. Minor seam repairs are included as part of the spa experience when needed.
Final Grooming
Once your plush is clean, dry, and restored, we give them a final grooming session. We brush, fluff, and carefully inspect your plush before sending them home.
Back Home Again
When your plushie has completed its spa experience, we'll carefully package them up and send them back home to you.
Return shipping is included in the $75 flat fee for plushies up to 18 inches.
What Happens When You Send Us Your Plush?
We want the process to be easy and stress-free.
1. Contact Us
Start by visiting our Contact Us page and tell us about your plushie.
Please include information such as the plushie's approximate size, condition, and anything you think we should know about its history or special needs.
Please do not mail your plushie before contacting us.
2. Book Your Plushie Spa Experience
We'll communicate with you about your plushie and provide the information you need to get them to us.
Once your spa experience is booked, we'll provide the appropriate shipping instructions.
3. Your Plushie Takes a Trip to the Spa
Carefully package your plushie and send them to Second Chance Plushies.
Then the fun begins!
4. We Begin the Transformation
Your plushie goes through the complete Rest & Rejuvenation process, from bubble bathing and detail cleaning to drying, restuffing, repairs, and final grooming.
We take our time because a good restoration shouldn't be rushed.
5. We Document the Transformation
One of the things that makes Second Chance Plushies special is that we love sharing the transformation process!
We video each plushie restoration so you can see the journey from beginning to end.
With your permission, we may share portions of your plushie's transformation on our social media channels. These videos help inspire other plush lovers to rescue, clean, and restore their own beloved plushies rather than throwing them away.

6. Your Plushie Comes Home
After completing their spa experience, your freshly cleaned and rejuvenated plushie is carefully prepared for their trip home.
